Job Responsibility

  • Be a part of a world class animation engineering team where you’ll work with world class animators to achieve a standalone feature for Call of Duty runtime
  • This role will impact how animations look in Call of Duty
  • Our Build Engineering team improves and maintains our game build system as well as continuous integration, code and data validation, and packaging and distribution across many PC and Console platforms
  • Our primary goal is to ensure that designers, artists, and engineers can see their work reflected in our game as quickly and reliably as possible
  • The Engine/Systems Engineering Team is involved in the architectural implementation of key engine features leveraged by other teams and sub disciplines
  • An intern for this team will learn how to work on and deliver key features and systems in the Diablo engine, that key stakeholders and other developers will leverage and build upon to generate great and awesome content
  • Partner across teams developing gameplay and features for our games
  • You will be working on a shipping title, with a mentor, on a team managing multiple projects against competing deadlines
  • This role will focus on implementing new features or mechanics into a shipping title
  • Work on new projects to help increase efficiencies by prototyping knowledge resource tools for Blizzard
  • Work with a team that acts as the technical glue between back end and user experience
  • As an Online Technology intern, you will control social systems on our games and implement new systems within multiplayer game features
  • Game pipeline engineering involves designing and implementing the technical systems and workflows that allow development teams to create and deliver video games efficiently and effectively

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree program and graduating December 2026 – July 2027
  • Available to participate in a 12-week internship starting in late-May or mid-June
  • Currently residing in the US or open to relocating oneself to the US
