Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a two Programmer / Team Scheduler's to manage and coordinate main-laying installations and service connections for housing developments across the Northwest. This role carries full responsibility for scheduling aspects across directly employed and subcontracted teams to ensure timely, efficient completion. This position requires close collaboration with the metering and streetworks divisions to ensure accurate planning, compliance, and smooth execution of works in line with key performance indicators (KPIs) and client connection dates.

Job Responsibility

  • Programme Ownership: Manage the scheduling of mains and service installations from client call-off to job completion
  • Optimised Scheduling: Create geographically efficient schedules to maximize productivity and reduce travel times
  • Streetworks Compliance: Coordinate with streetworks teams to ensure compliance with NRSWA section 50 requirements
  • Client Communication: Confirm program dates with clients and provide consistent updates
  • KPI Management: Generate weekly reports to track and ensure KPI and objective achievement
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside operational teams to forecast workloads and maintain resource levels
