We are seeking an experienced Programmer/Analyst with strong SQL and ETL development expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in application development and support, with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS-based ETL processes. This role also requires hands-on experience in production support, ensuring the reliability and performance of critical financial applications.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
Build and optimize ETL workflows using SSIS to support data integration and transformation
Monitor and support production jobs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues
Participate in performance tuning and optimization of database systems
Document technical processes and maintain system knowledge base
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in application development and support
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization
3+ years of hands-on experience with ETL development using SSIS
2+ years experience with C#
1+ year experience in VB.net
1+ year of Python
Batch and Groovy Scripting
Knowledge of AWS
Strong understanding of relational database design and data modeling
Experience in production support, including incident management and job monitoring
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience
Nice to have:
Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Zena, Control-M, or similar)
Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub
