As a Programme Tutor in ESOL, you will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment that enables students to achieve their full potential. You’ll create an inclusive and engaging environment, supporting all learners, including those with SEND, to progress and succeed. You’ll contribute to maintaining high standards across the curriculum while supporting the College’s commitment to empowering potential and achieving success.
Job Responsibility:
Have a passion for teaching English to speakers of other languages
Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in line with curriculum requirements
Plan inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners, including SEND
Monitor student progress, attendance and engagement, taking action where needed
Provide clear targets and timely, constructive feedback to support achievement
Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments
Requirements:
Recognised teaching qualification at Level 5 or above
GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or equivalent
Relevant vocational qualification at Level 3 or above
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant industry experience
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and support learners
