Job Description:

As a Programme Tutor in Uniformed Public Services and Sport, you will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment that enables students to achieve their full potential. You’ll create an inclusive, engaging environment, supporting a diverse range of learners and preparing them for progression into further study or employment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver engaging teaching, learning, and assessment in line with curriculum requirements
  • Plan inclusive lessons that meet a range of learner needs, including SEND
  • Monitor student progress, attendance, and engagement, taking appropriate action
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to support achievement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support teams to enhance learner outcomes
  • Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments

Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (Level 5 or above)
  • Relevant vocational qualification (Level 3 or above) with industry experience
  • Experience working with young people in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that supports learner progress
