Job Description:

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Programme Planner to build and maintain integrated schedules that provide a clear, trusted view of delivery progress. You will be the architect of our client's master schedule, ensuring that milestones, dependencies, and risks are mapped accurately to support high-level decision-making.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and control integrated programme and project schedules using industry-standard planning tools
  • Manage stage gates, baselines, and change control to ensure we meet rigorous governance standards
  • Produce high-impact reporting packs and dashboards that translate complex schedules into actionable insights
  • Facilitate planning workshops and engage closely with Project Teams, the PMO, and senior stakeholders
  • Proactively identify schedule risks and manage critical cross-workstream dependencies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in programme or portfolio planning within complex, multi-project environments
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Jira, Excel, and PowerBI
  • A solid understanding of MSP, PRINCE2, or Agile frameworks
  • Analytical thinking
  • exceptional attention to detail
  • ability to manage competing priorities in a collaborative setting

Nice to have:

  • Professional certifications in Project or Programme Management
  • Experience working within enterprise PMO environments or with BPO contracts
  • A background in implementing automated reporting or Agile planning techniques at scale

  • Assist the planner / senior planner with production of the tender deliverables as required
  • Capture and input ‘actual data’ to the current programme of site works, as directed by senior planner / planner / project manager
  • Assist with production of the monthly and period updated programme, progress reports and revised forecasts and its communication to the site team, client and all major stakeholders
  • Provide planning support to assist the project in order to enable the team to monitor pinch-points on the critical path and test logic where previously agreed to either improve upon the baseline programme or to mitigate potential delays
