We are currently recruiting for 2 Programme Officers to join our dedicated Youth Support Team on a permanent basis. The Youth Support NEET team supports young people to access education, employment, and training.
Job Responsibility
Liaising with schools, colleges, and other providers to collect information on people's basic details, education, employment, and training opportunities and destinations
Building supportive and empowering relationships with young people helping them overcome barriers, find suitable opportunities, and apply for training and suitable roles
Providing information and advice on learning, employment, and personal development opportunities to young people using the telephone, internet, and sometimes face to face
Requirements
Full driving licence and willingness to drive as this role covers Gloucestershire as a whole
DBS clearance (Enhanced Adults and Children’s)
Flexibility to sometimes work out of office hours
Professional qualification (minimum level 3 NVQ or other approved course in social care, education, youth work, advice and guidance, criminal justice or health)
