Barclays Change leads and oversees transformational change initiatives at Barclays. Your role will involve managing projects and programs that drive strategic improvements and ensure successful implementation of change across the organization. Join us as a Programme Manager. At Barclays, we don’t just adapt to the future, we create it. As a Programme Manager one has to drive and lead both people and engineering transformation initiatives across Barclays India Technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or technical delivery, combined with experience in organizational change and people transformation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Management of change projects within the organisation, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Development and management of project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects
  • Communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met
  • Management of project teams, ensuring that they are properly resourced and that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives
  • Management of project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed budget
  • Creation of reports on project progress to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget
  • Management of project risks, ensuring that risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated as necessary
  • Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure that change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of agile delivery, software development lifecycle, and engineering best practices
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale engineering and organizational transformation
  • Stakeholder Management as role will involve partnering with senior leadership to identify key transformation opportunities and develop actionable plans
  • Strong knowledge in agile WoW
  • Hands on experience in JIRA, Confluence, Sharepoint, Powerpoint
  • Good experience in defining/implementing workforce structure/strategy/culture
  • Extremely strong in demonstrating Barclays mindsets like “Drive” and “Challenge”
  • Experience in developing KPI Dashboards, reporting
  • Strong presentation skills coupled with written/verbal communication

Nice to have:

  • Certifications in Agile (e.g., SAFe, Scrum)
  • Prior hands on experience in software development
  • Experience in a high-growth tech company or digital transformation environment
