Programme Manager (International Climate & Energy thinktank). Reporting to the Programme Finance Manager, you will help teams plan, resource and deliver a portfolio of grants to scope, on time and within budget, strengthening governance, risk and reporting.
Job Responsibility:
Support work-planning, resourcing, monitoring and delivery across a portfolio of grants and projects
Maintain programme tools, records and shared workspaces
ensure compliance with funder requirements
Facilitate grant monitoring and planning meetings
track actions, risks and dependencies
Quality assure narrative/financial reporting and deliverables prior to external submission
Track project financial performance (spend vs budget, forecasts, utilisation) and escalate concerns
Support contract and stakeholder management
coordinate associates/SMEs where required
Lead due diligence for partners/funders/associates, assessing operational, legal and reputational risk
Requirements:
3–5 years’ experience in programme management and/or international grant management (incl. government grants)
Strong organisational and stakeholder skills
comfortable working with ambiguity and competing priorities
Financial and resource management capability (budgeting, forecasting, risk, commercial awareness)
Knowledge of PM tools and methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication
Nice to have:
Agile/PRINCE2 (or similar) desirable
International/remote working experience across cultures and time zones desirable
