Strategic Business Development: Drive Avalon’s growth strategy by identifying, evaluating, and securing large-scale business opportunities, including tenders, partnerships, and strategic alliances
Provide vision and leadership in expanding market reach, shaping business development roadmaps, and positioning Avalon as a key player in IT services
Establish and nurture high-level relationships with senior executives, government officials, and key stakeholders
Tender Strategy & Governance: Oversee strategic identification of high-value tenders across public and private sectors
Provide leadership for end-to-end tender governance: bid qualification, solution positioning, financial modelling, compliance, and submission
Guide internal teams in creating winning proposals that balance competitiveness, compliance, and profitability
Executive Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and decision-makers in client organisations
Lead executive-level presentations, solution workshops, and thought-leadership sessions to position Avalon as a preferred partner
Build and maintain long-term strategic client relationships, ensuring sustainable revenue streams and market reputation
Programme & Delivery Oversight: Provide strategic oversight of multiple high-value programmes and projects acquired through tenders and partnerships
Ensure delivery excellence by setting governance frameworks, monitoring KPIs, and proactively addressing escalations
Collaborate with senior leaders across product, technology, and operations to ensure timely, high-quality, and profitable delivery
Leadership & Organisational Impact: Mentor and guide mid-level managers and cross-functional teams to build organizational capability and future leadership
Represent Avalon at industry forums, conferences, and government interactions to enhance organisational visibility and credibility
Contribute to long-term strategy, annual business planning, and organizational decision-making at the leadership level
Requirements:
10–20 years of progressive experience in programme management, business development, or large-scale IT/technology consulting
Background in GovTech, data systems, RBM/monitoring, analytics/dashboards, or sector MIS (Education, Healthcare, etc)
Proven success in securing and delivering multi-million-dollar programmes or tenders in India or international markets
Strong understanding of government procurement processes and large enterprise IT requirements
Exceptional relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills at the senior executive level
Experience in leading diverse teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders
Strong leadership presence with the ability to represent Avalon at senior forums and negotiations
Willingness to travel across India and internationally, as required
Track record of driving organisational growth and delivering measurable business outcomes
