Join us as a Programme Management Office AVP at Barclays, where you will spearhead the evolution of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines, driving innovation and operational excellence. You will harness cutting-edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable and secure infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of our digital solutions. The role is based out of Pune. Purpose of the role: To support the portfolio management team in the delivery of successful projects, while ensuring that portfolio management processes and practices are aligned with controls and governance standards and that projects are aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Facilitate portfolio prioritisation, ensuring the portfolio is compliant with the established control framework
  • Support the effective governance of the portfolio
  • Monitor portfolio performance
  • Facilitate the management of the portfolio Book of Work
  • Oversight of change delivery to ensure alignment with relevant policies and standards
  • Review, resolve, manage and escalate portfolio risks and issues
  • Engage and influence all stakeholders
  • Support an environment of effective delivery
  • Operate as a source of best practice guidance and expertise

Requirements:

  • Graduate /Postgraduate with good hands-on experience in Portfolio Governance & Control
  • Good communication skills (written & Oral)
  • Stakeholders’ management, at senior level
  • Working knowledge of JIRA tool, Project Management Tools
  • Good working knowledge on MS PowerPoint and MS Excel

Nice to have:

  • SAFe Certification
  • PMP Certification
  • Project Finance Management knowledge
