Job Description:

As Programme Delivery Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of major electricity infrastructure schemes and customer connections across the business’s operational regions. This includes both network reinforcement projects and new connections (working across the ICP/DNO interface). You'll ensure delivery is safe, on time, on budget, and compliant with technical, commercial, and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a portfolio of electricity infrastructure projects from planning to energisation
  • Act as the senior delivery interface with clients, DNOs, ICPs, and internal teams
  • Foster a high-performance, safety-first culture across all project and contractor teams
  • Drive delivery against time, cost, safety, and customer KPIs
  • Oversee governance, risk mitigation, budget control, and reporting
  • Ensure technical compliance with industry standards (DNO/ICP, CDM, NRSWA)
  • Manage and develop Project Managers and delivery engineers
  • Provide regular progress updates to internal stakeholders and clients

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing electrical infrastructure projects within The UK
  • Confident in managing budgets, risk, and stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience working within a DNO, IDNO, or ICP
  • Understanding of Ofgem frameworks (e.g. RIIO-ED2)
  • APM PMQ, PRINCE2, or MSP certification
