Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Programme Coordinator to join the team with our prestigious client Safran Actuations at their site in Wolverhampton, this is a hybrid role with site attendance expectations being 3 days per week on-site and 2 days working from home. Job Description Summary: At Safran Electronics & Defence, we operate at the forefront of aerospace, defence, and advanced technology innovation. Our people deliver mission-critical systems, products, and services that support customers across global markets through engineering excellence, operational performance, and technological advancement. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Actuation Systems business for a highly driven and analytically minded Programme Coordinator to support two major business-critical transformation programmes. This role will support the operational coordination, governance, tracking, and resource management activities associated with: The Separation Management Plan (SMP), involving the transfer of more than 700,000 hours of work content across approximately 30 work packages into Safran operational sites and The Digital Technology (DT) Separation programme, involving the migration and separation of digital technology systems, infrastructure, applications, and services into the Safran environment. This is a high-visibility role operating at the centre of a complex global transformation programme. The successful candidate will work across multiple stakeholders, functions, countries, and programme work-streams to ensure resource plans, hiring activities, reporting, governance, and operational tracking remain accurate and on track. The role would suit an ambitious, highly organised, and intellectually curious individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving problems, and is motivated by bringing structure, discipline, and clarity to complex programmes.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate and maintain programme resource trackers, hiring plans, milestone trackers, actions, risks, and reporting outputs across both the SMP and DT Separation programmes
  • Work closely with Transfer Managers, HR teams, Talent Acquisition, DT stakeholders, Workforce Intelligence, and functional leaders to gather, validate, and maintain accurate programme data
  • Drive progress and accountability across stakeholders by proactively following up on actions, hiring updates, workforce plans, programme milestones, and outstanding deliverables
  • Support programme governance through the organisation and administration of operational cadence meetings, governance reviews, and programme tracking forums
  • Chair working-level governance meetings where required, ensuring actions, owners, timelines, and decisions are clearly captured and progressed
  • Track programme milestones and resource mobilisation activities to ensure hiring and onboarding activities remain aligned to programme deadlines and operational readiness requirements
  • Escalate delays, risks, inconsistencies, or delivery concerns where appropriate to ensure programme momentum is maintained
  • Partner closely with Workforce Intelligence and reporting teams to ensure programme reporting, dashboards, forecasts, and headcount data remain accurate at all times
  • Support the preparation of programme updates, operational reporting packs, and governance materials for senior programme leadership
  • Ensure strong structure, organisation, and governance discipline across programme management activities
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve reporting quality, programme visibility, tracking accuracy, and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Experience within programme coordination, PMO, project support, transformation, operations, workforce planning, or business change environments
  • Highly structured and methodical approach with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong analytical mindset with confidence working with large volumes of data, trackers, reporting, and workforce/resource plans
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capability and strong confidence working with data and reporting tools
  • Relentless follow-through and strong personal accountability, someone who proactively drives actions to closure rather than waiting for updates
  • Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders simultaneously and confidently following up where actions or deadlines are slipping
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills within a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage professionally across varying levels of seniority
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping to create structure and clarity within complex programmes
  • High levels of resilience, pace, curiosity, and learning agility
  • Strong problem-solving capability and ability to identify inconsistencies, risks, or gaps within programme data and reporting

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting transformation, separation, migration, or organisational change programmes
  • Experience within aerospace, defence, engineering, manufacturing, or other complex operational environments
  • Familiarity with programme governance processes including milestone tracking, and action management
  • Experience supporting Digital Technology (DT), ERP, systems migration, or workforce transition activities
  • Exposure to resource planning, recruitment coordination, workforce analytics, or headcount tracking
