Job Description:

Birkbeck, University of London, is looking for a Programme Administrator to join the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences on a full-time, fixed-term, maternity cover basis. Job Responsibility:

Supporting the delivery programmes of study, dealing effectively with college processes, systems and procedures
Addressing student queries and concerns sympathetically and effectively, in all cases, following college policies and procedures to ensure a consistent and high-quality student experience
Actively supporting student success and wellbeing, ensuring they have the resources and guidance they need
Providing administrative support and supporting Faculty activities

Requirements:

Be flexible and able to work independently and as part of a team on a variety of projects, using strong organisational skills
Be able to work collaboratively and cultivate excellent working relationships
Possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and have a solid background in administration, ideally within an educational setting
Be comfortable using a variety of electronic systems (e.g. Microsoft Office 365, Teams, SITS student records, Moodle etc), although training will be provided
