We are looking for a contractor to support daily front desk and client intake operations for a nonprofit housing environment in South San Francisco, California. This is a short term assignment (two days) Sat 6/13 & Sun 6/14. Apply today to be considered for this short term role. The hours are 3:30pm to midnight.
Job Responsibility
Welcome visitors and clients at the front desk
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
Assist with client check-in and check-out activities
Monitor the facility during the swing shift by completing checks and conducting routine rounds
Support daily site coverage by stepping in during coworker breaks and meal periods
Restock shared area supplies
Help move food deliveries or donated items
Provide basic client support including helping individuals access medications
Uphold facility guidelines
Address concerns effectively
Prepare written notices when policy issues need to be documented.
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in administrative support, front desk operations, customer service, or a related field
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact respectfully with diverse individuals
Comfortable working collaboratively with staff while also handling responsibilities independently
Ability to maintain professionalism and sound judgment in a client-facing nonprofit or community service setting.
