The Program Support Specialist provides administrative, operational, and logistical support to program staff to ensure the successful implementation of nonprofit initiatives. This role involves coordinating activities, maintaining program documentation, assisting with reporting, and serving as a key point of support for program teams.
Job Responsibility:
Assist program managers with planning, coordination, and implementation of programs and events
Maintain accurate program records, databases, and files
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate communications with participants, volunteers, and partner organizations
Track program metrics and assist in monitoring and evaluation efforts
Support the development of outreach materials and communications
Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating logistics
Perform other duties as assigned to support program success
Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, social services, or a related field (preferred)
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with data entry, recordkeeping, and reporting
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, or similar software
Experience with donor and fundraising management software, such as Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, Bloomerang, DonorPerfect, or Little Green Light
Experience with program and project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Smartsheet
