Job Responsibility

  • Coordinating and executing all aspects of the recreational, spiritual and activity needs of the community
  • Responsible for the activity calendar including planning and executing all events
  • Creates schedules for community bus service
  • Ability to creatively decorate community for various events
  • Researches, interviews and hires entertainment for events
  • Establishes a relationship with outside sources such as local senior centers, religious groups, libraries, hospitals, high schools, local merchants and more

Requirements

  • Three years’ experience in programs and/or senior services is preferred
  • Experience with public relations is a plus

  • Manage and follow the hiring process for all new hires
  • Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with staff to provide ongoing support and problem resolution
  • Provide leadership in the planning, coordination, and administration of the program prevention and treatment services for clients affected by alcohol and drugs
  • Ensure that appropriate systems are in place to support and maintain the programs
  • Respond in the first step of staff or client complaints or grievances
  • Ensure that program and client files are maintained according to clinical and agency standards, especially regarding client input and confidentiality
  • Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of program services and providing timely reports to the agency, funders, and community
