Program Senior Group Manager (Director) – Wealth Lending The Program Senior Group Manager (Director) manages a team of project management professionals, and provides leadership, oversight and hands-on delivery and coordination of large-scale, complex, cross‑functional programs and projects within the Wealth Lending business. Lending is a key part of the Wealth business, helping clients meet their lending needs across our global network. This role directly manages the Lending Project Management team, while also managing multiple project teams, and serves as a key member of the functional leadership team. The role requires a seasoned professional who can operate at both a strategic and executional level, with a strong understanding of functional strategy, business objectives, and industry dynamics, combined with disciplined execution and the ability to drive outcomes across a matrixed organization, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders. The position is accountable for translating strategic direction into executable programs and projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities, regulatory expectations, and client outcomes. The successful candidate will lead end‑to‑end program and project execution, coordinate cross‑functional delivery, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.
Job Responsibility
Lead the planning, direction, coordination and delivery of a portfolio of complex programs aligned to Wealth Lending and enterprise strategy
Develop and manage integrated programs of work, ensuring alignment to business goals, scope, milestones, dependencies, and outcomes
Determine delivery approaches for executing functional strategy, balancing risk, quality, and speed of execution, in partnership with Business sponsors, Product, Technology, Risk, Operations and other stakeholders
Own the facilitation and resolution of large-scale, cross-program issues, ensuring all stakeholder groups are aligned and program objectives remain on track
Identify and manage interdependencies across initiatives, proactively addressing impacts to scope, timelines, and resources
Partner with Program Sponsors to ensure program scope, business cases, and cost/benefit analyses align with strategic and commercial objectives
Negotiate with and secure resources from various departments to ensure the successful completion of program objectives within agreed-upon timelines
Establish and maintain strong governance, reporting, and communication cadence for leadership forums, including steering committees, executive updates, and escalation protocols
Direct the communication of program status, risks, issues, and key decisions to stakeholders, including senior management, in a timely and transparent manner
Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks and issues impacting program delivery, including those outside established programs of work
Ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed as required
Enforce consistent use of program management processes, tools, and standards across all projects in the portfolio
Ensure all program deliverables and processes are compliant with internal policies and external regulations
Ensure high‑quality documentation, reporting, and artifact management in line with enterprise expectations
Promote consistency, leverage, and continuous improvement across program execution
Partner with senior stakeholders to define objectives, prioritize initiatives, and align delivery to business strategy
Identify key stakeholders across Business, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Operations
Build and manage effective relationships to drive alignment, decision‑making, and delivery outcomes

Manage Lending project management team, including performance management, career development planning, succession planning, hiring, and workforce planning

Lead, manage, coach and develop managers and team members to build strong program and project leadership capability

Requirements
15+ years of demonstrated experience in leading the execution and implementation of complex business strategies, including 8–10+ years of managerial experience
Demonstrated track record leading large, strategic, cross‑functional programs or portfolios involving multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, external vendors, and cross-functional departments
Managed end-to-end lifecycle of AI-enabled initiatives, including use case prioritization, model deployment, monitoring, and post-implementation value realization
Led change management strategies to support AI adoption, including stakeholder alignment, training, and communication across senior leadership
Drove adoption of AI-powered tools to improve project delivery efficiency, decision-making, and reporting (eg. automation, predictive insights, copilots)
Exceptional ability to liaise with and influence senior leadership, business lines, technology, operations, and compliance teams, driving consensus and strategic alignment
Prior experience in program/project management, PMO leadership, consulting, technology, or business transformation
Proven experience working in financial services or similarly regulated, risk‑managed environment
Exceptional project, program and portfolio management and execution across multiple workstreams
Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity
Demonstrated ability to lead complex, ambiguous programs involving emerging technologies
Experience in driving organizational adoption of AI capabilities, including operating model and process changes
