Job Description

In order to support Space Digital Quality team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Program Quality Manager (d/f/m). As a key member of the project core team, you will be working with the very latest secure communication technology.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop a Quality Assurance Plan for projects developing new products and services
  • Flow down the contract specific quality requirements (e.g. to project, suppliers, subcontractors)
  • Ensure project milestones and review gates are planned and implemented
  • Ensure customer deliverables meet customer requirements
  • Ensure Quality Control Activities are planned and performed by the responsible people
  • Ensure management of Non-Conformance by project & service teams and trace back to root cause and track implementation of the resolution
  • Escalate hot topics and items of non-compliance
  • Promote preventative culture with the business and provide business process awareness, training and coaching
  • Facilitate the lessons learned process and foster best practices sharing

Requirements

  • University degree (BSc/MSc) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field
  • Proven track record in Program/Project Management, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in Software Development (SW) environments
  • Practical experience in Quality Management (ideally SW Quality) and familiarity with auditing processes
  • Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 or EN 9100
  • Familiarity with AQAP 2000 series, CMMI, or V-Model frameworks is highly valued
  • Strong analytical mindset, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative spirit for international teamwork
  • Fluency in English and German (C1 level) is essential
