Job Description

The College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office is looking for a part-time temporary Program/Project Coordinator. This position is a hybrid eligible appointment.

Job Responsibility

  • Execution of event details which include logistical organization
  • Communication to institute participants
  • Supporting the pre-, mid- and post-requirements of data collection
  • Arrangement of audio-visual needs of the presenters
  • Serving as the point of contact for questions and additional communications

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years of relevant experience

Nice to have

  • Demonstrated proficiency with standard office software required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Strong administrative, organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Highly organized, flexible and able to handle multiple tasks
  • Able to work independently to meet multiple deadlines
  • Experience and comfort working with basic facility-audio and visual technologies
  • Prior experience at K-State and knowledge of K-State offices preferred

  • Lead and drive the involvement and inputs from multidisciplinary stakeholders to find solutions to technical roadblocks, risks and challenges
