Job Description:

The Program Management Advisory and Execution (PMAE) team operates as an enterprise-level resource supporting Citi's various business units in governance and executing complex programs. This mid-level program manager role focuses on leading cross-functional programs, ensuring quality, driving improvements, and developing structured project frameworks while working in a highly matrixed environment.

Job Responsibility:

ensure the consistent quality of deliverables for assigned programs and projects
effectively guide, influence and direct individuals responsible for separate work efforts
lead within a complex/global matrix environment
influence team and stakeholders in decisions resulting in material improvements
collaborate and consult with executive leadership, stakeholders, and project leads
provide independent third-party challenge for program deliverables and plans
solve complex problems and turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into tactical plans or solutions
act as a change catalyst to benefit program objectives
drive the pace of work for self and other resources
make decisions in end-to-end project management
develop and implement program and project level processes and metrics
establish relationships with stakeholders to define program objectives and requirements
communicate effectively and provide actionable recommendations

Requirements:

5+ years of experience managing complex projects and programs following a structured methodology
bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
technical proficiencies in MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
demonstrated ability to independently lead complex projects/programs
PMP or PRINCE2 certification or ability to obtain certification within 1 year of employment
must be able to work at designated Citi location in 3 days/week

Nice to have:

professional experience in a large corporation within the financial sector
finance or accounting experience
experience with enterprise program management tools
