The Program Manager, Design Operations serves as the operational backbone of the client Design organization, driving strategic alignment across executive leadership and ensuring seamless execution of programs, projects, and initiatives across the full design portfolio.
Job Responsibility:
Partner directly with executive leadership to manage PMO governance, reporting cadences, and strategic program tracking
Develop and maintain executive facing dashboards, status reports, and portfolio visibility tools
Facilitate leadership forums, steering committees, and decision making processes
Serve as the primary program partner to the Head of Design, providing end to end support across planning, coordination, and execution of design initiatives
Translate leadership priorities into actionable roadmaps and track progress against milestones
Own and continuously improve operational processes that support the Design organization's day to day and long term efficiency
Identify operational gaps and implement scalable solutions across people, process, and tooling
Lead the design team's project intake process, developing and managing brief frameworks that ensure projects are scoped, prioritized, and resourced effectively
Serve as the intake point of contact for cross functional stakeholders submitting work to the Design team
Maintain program and project management standards across the entire Design team
Drive consistency in planning, risk management, dependencies tracking, and delivery reporting
Requirements:
5-8+ years of program or project management experience, preferably within a design, creative, or product organization
Proven experience supporting C suite or senior design leadership
Strong command of PMO frameworks, intake processes, and operational workflows
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar)
PMP, Agile, or equivalent certification a plus
A Bachelor’s or Higher Degree is the minimum entry required
