We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead enterprise-level coordination efforts for a Long-term Contract opportunity in San Diego, California. This role will drive program governance, reduce delivery risk, and align priorities across IT, Finance, HR, and Engineering to support complex business initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong merger and acquisition program leadership, excels at managing interdependent workstreams, and can keep global milestones on track in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility
Direct program governance activities, establish clear decision-making frameworks, and maintain visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies across multiple teams
Coordinate cross-functional planning with IT, Finance, HR, and Engineering stakeholders to ensure aligned execution against shared objectives and timelines
Lead merger and acquisition integration planning by applying established playbooks, organizing workstreams, and driving accountability across impacted functions
Manage Transitional Service Agreement activities, including tracking commitments, monitoring service obligations, and escalating issues that could affect delivery
Oversee global cutover planning and execution, ensuring readiness milestones, communication plans, and contingency measures are in place before key events
Maintain comprehensive risk registers, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues that could disrupt scope, schedule, or stakeholder alignment
Facilitate program reviews, status reporting, and executive updates to support informed decisions and transparent communication at all levels
Use project delivery tools such as Jira to monitor action items, manage timelines, and support Agile-based coordination where appropriate
Requirements
Proven experience managing large-scale programs with significant cross-functional coordination responsibilities
Strong background in merger and acquisition execution, including integration planning and governance leadership
Demonstrated experience administering Transitional Service Agreements within complex enterprise environments
Ability to manage global cutover schedules and coordinate readiness activities across geographically distributed teams
Hands-on expertise in IT project management and broad project delivery methodologies
Proficiency with Agile Scrum practices and workflow management tools such as Atlassian Jira
PMP certification or equivalent project/program management credential is strongly preferred
