Service Stream is seeking a proactive and highly organised Program Manager to lead the successful delivery of major power programs across Victoria. As a part of working directly for an Asset Owner or key government projects, Service Stream is growing its capability, and this is an exciting role to be part of the growth and influence key outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver power projects up to $15M within scope, budget, and schedule to the Service Stream PMM framework
Manage stakeholders including clients, contractors, and internal teams
Control project finances, monitor costs, and manage variations in a timely manner
Ensure safety and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
Oversee quality assurance, testing, commissioning, and documentation including being PM2 accredited
Coordinate resources efficiently (people and plant) and mitigate risks to achieve successful outcomes
Requirements:
Over 10 years’ experience in overhead/underground lines construction management projects
Project Management experience in a contracting organisation or project based business or similar with a proven ability to operate in a dynamic “live” environment and to meet project hurdles
Experience in the application of structured project management methodologies to a wide range of projects
Understanding of power distribution networks, processes and procedures
Trade qualifications or Civil/Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent (Project Management/Construction Management)
PM2 Accredited (desirable)
Computer Literate
Report writing ‘live’ environment
Core Programming Skills
Knowledge of work structures, conditions, tools and equipment used by team construction staff
Ability to manage and take accountability for all project functions
Financial Management: ability to maintain budgets & drive cost accountability
