We are looking for a Program Manager to guide a complex manufacturing consolidation initiative across multiple sites in Taylorsville, North Carolina. This Long-term Contract position will partner closely with senior leadership to shape the program approach, align cross-functional teams, and maintain momentum from early planning through final implementation. The role requires strong coordination, clear communication, and disciplined oversight to help deliver the transition smoothly while protecting business continuity for employees, customers, and operations.
Job Responsibility
Build and maintain a comprehensive program plan that outlines milestones, timelines, risks, and critical interdependencies across the consolidation effort
Coordinate work across operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and other functional teams to keep priorities aligned and execution on schedule
Facilitate governance activities by preparing updates, organizing meetings, and supporting steering committee decisions with clear status reporting
Track project progress using roadmaps, dashboards, and detailed action plans to identify issues early and drive timely resolution
Lead communication planning to ensure stakeholders receive consistent updates, understand upcoming changes, and remain engaged throughout the program lifecycle
Manage calendars, meeting cadence, and follow-up actions for key project forums to keep deliverables moving forward
Partner with leaders to reduce operational disruption during the transition and support a stable experience for internal teams and customers
Oversee dependency management for major workstreams, including any process or system-related transition activities required to complete the consolidation successfully
Requirements
Proven experience leading large-scale program or project initiatives, preferably within manufacturing, operations, or transformation environments
Strong capability in project planning, roadmap development, and end-to-end project tracking across multiple stakeholders
Demonstrated success managing cross-functional programs and coordinating work among leadership teams and operational partners
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other tools used for status reporting, scheduling, and progress monitoring
Ability to organize calendars, meetings, and action items while maintaining close attention to deadlines and details
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present updates clearly and drive alignment
Experience supporting complex business changes with a structured, customer-focused, and execution-oriented approach
