Job Description

Contract role for a Program Manager / Project Manager to manage end-to-end project activities, coordinate with multiple teams, and ensure successful project execution in a financial services, operations, or technology environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage end‑to‑end project activities, including scoping, scheduling, planning, and tracking deliverables across multiple workstreams
  • Facilitate project meetings, document action items, and ensure timely follow‑through on next steps
  • Develop, update, and maintain project plans, timelines, RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions), and progress dashboards
  • Coordinate with technology, operations, compliance, and business teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution
  • Monitor project milestones and escalate risks, delays, and dependencies to leadership as needed
  • Lead regular status meetings with stakeholders and translate complex information into clear, concise updates
  • Prepare executive‑level reporting, summaries, and documentation for leadership review
  • Influence busy or high‑demand stakeholders and manage competing priorities across teams
  • Maintain strong professional presence during cross‑functional conversations and issue‑resolution discussions
  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, or roadblocks and propose actionable solutions
  • Support change‑management activities, including documentation updates, communication to impacted teams, and tracking of adoption progress
  • Ensure teams adhere to established project governance, controls, and operational procedures
  • Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate project readiness, system impacts, and operational dependencies
  • Use Excel and project management tools (Excel trackers, SharePoint, JIRA, MS Project, or similar) to manage tasks, dependencies, and reporting
  • Track data, metrics, and project KPIs to support decision‑making and highlight variances from plan
  • Prepare presentations, summaries, and documentation using PowerPoint or other communication tools

Requirements

  • 3+ years of project or program management experience
  • Strong communication, writing, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and mini‑projects simultaneously
  • High‑level organizational and planning abilities
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Strong follow‑through, ownership mindset, and stakeholder‑management skills

Nice to have

  • Experience managing projects or programs within financial services, operations, or technology
  • Experience using project management tools or maintaining structured project artifacts
