Job Description

NTT DATA seeks a seasoned Program Manager to lead large-scale networking and fiber infrastructure programs within our Public Sector SLED practice. This role requires deep expertise in managing service provider networks and delivering complex IT programs across geographically dispersed environments.

Job Responsibility

  • Direct and oversee end-to-end program delivery for networking and fiber initiatives
  • Manage service provider networks supporting 100+ locations and a network supporting 10,000+ individuals, ensuring high availability and compliance
  • Develop program plans, budgets, and schedules aligned with client objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Lead cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Implement risk management strategies and maintain executive-level reporting on KPIs and financials
  • Facilitating State agency and Master Contractor discussions / meetings
  • Identifying critical paths, tasks, dates, testing, and acceptance criteria
  • Ensuring the application of State System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards
  • Providing solutions to improve efficiency (e.g., reduce costs while maintaining or improving performance levels)

Requirements

  • 10+ years of project and program management experience in IT infrastructure
  • 5+ years managing service provider networks supporting 100+ locations and a network supporting 10,000 individuals
  • The proposed candidate must demonstrate at least eight (8) years of experience managing complex IT development projects and/or programs, similar to that described in the Statement of Work
  • Candidates must possess a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • This individual must also have experience in a leadership role for at least three (3) successful projects and/or programs with an organizational change management component that involve working with stakeholder groups across the organization
  • The candidate must possess at least five (5) years of experience using PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK) methodologies and artifacts
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related discipline
