Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join Uber’s Core Tech Legal team. The Core Technologies team has a front-row seat for new technology adoption at Uber, including the rapid expansion of AI. This is a unique opportunity to strengthen the team’s legal and operational foundation and influence how we adopt generative AI to make us more efficient and effective. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in legal project management and a strong bias for action, with the ability to independently identify pain points and develop practical solutions to address them. You’ll provide efficient, best in class legal support at every stage of product development, from ideation to launch and market expansion, while ensuring key stakeholder collaboration along the way.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with a highly collaborative, growing team to lead and scale project management processes for product legal reviews and commercial work
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve processes, tools, playbooks, and systems that enable efficient legal reviews, streamlined approval workflows, and scalable team operations
  • Serve as a front-line reviewer, working under the supervision of an attorney, to handle the review, drafting, and negotiating of a wide variety of business proposals and commercial agreements
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with various global legal, policy, and cross-functional teams and act as a key liaison to drive alignment, resolve blockers, and ensure appropriate visibility.

Requirements

Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in legal program management or a related field.
