Job Responsibility

  • Manage all aspects of program builds, balancing costs, delivery timelines, supplier relations, and customer expectations
  • Meet and manage an average program budget of $10,000,000
  • manage build inventories in collaboration with the production team
  • Conduct APQP activities, including internal documentation, maintaining PDP folders, gate reviews, CFTs, ECN systems, and PPAP
  • Coordinate crucial program information between departments and internal production teams
  • Validate designs through DV/PV testing, assembly trials, and ergonomics studies
  • participate in design decision-making (feasibility, functionality, manufacturability)
  • Troubleshoot issues at customer assembly plants
  • create and present design/quality resolutions directly to clients
  • support quoting for new business

Requirements

  • University Degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field
  • 3–5 years of experience managing programs within a production or manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in reading part drawings
  • previous experience with GD&T is strictly required
  • Strong moulding process knowledge (RIM, TPO, EPP) and tool construction expertise are considered major assets
  • Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and professional conflict-resolution skills
  • Highly organized and capable of managing a heavy workload
  • Regular travel required
  • must possess a valid passport, valid driver's license, and excellent internal safety/performance track record
