Job Description:

Provides support and/or leads teams through the Engineering development process for product implementation and issue management. Responsibilities include managing activities, resources, schedules, budgets, and ensuring cross-company communications. Contributions include solving technical problems and recommending alternatives to achieve objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Address product and process excursions through end-to-end issue management and containment, minimizing customer impact and disruptions to HPE processes
  • Manage product issues through the containment process, engaging cross-functional team members for root cause analysis, resolution, and recovery
  • Perform risk analysis with other team members and define/implement mitigation/avoidance actions
  • Implement robust corrective and preventive actions to prevent reoccurrence of issues identified in excursions and data analysis
  • Drive product and process improvement projects that enhance customer experience
  • Drive innovation and integration of new technologies to improve internal processes
  • Manage and lead a program involving one or more functions and project teams
  • Develop schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements
  • Track progress against established plan and manage updates to meet product requirements and schedule
  • Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to stakeholders
  • Lead and mentor less-experienced staff members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Quality Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
  • 4-6 years of experience in project management or quality related activities
  • Project Management experience (PMP/PMI certification preferred)
  • Strong Quality / Lean Six Sigma experience (ASQ or other quality certifications preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • mastery in English and local language
  • Using project planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and directing matrixed teams and resources
  • Ability to create and manage program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
  • Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels
