The Program Manager for ESG & Contract Management will support the establishment of a unified US-wide program spanning ESG, Risk Management, Business Continuity, and Contract Management. While contributing across all elements of the broader program, this role will focus primarily on advancing ESG and Contract Management maturity across ASML's US locations (Wilton, San Diego, and San Jose). The Program Manager acts as a strategic connector between US regional needs and global competency leads in Veldhoven, partnering closely with the Regional Business Continuity Lead, Legal, Procurement, Risk & Compliance, and site leadership. This role ensures that global frameworks are translated into practical US processes, supported with strong governance, analytics, and consistent stakeholder engagement.
Job Responsibility
Serve as the primary US contact for ESG and Contract Management activities
Partner with supplier-facing teams to embed ESG expectations, contract compliance requirements, and risk controls into supplier engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with US site leadership, regional competency leads, and global stakeholders
Facilitate cross-site communication and ensure consistent implementation of the broader ESG, Risk, BC, and Contract Management program
Represent US regional needs in global forums
Lead the practical execution of ESG deliverables including supplier assessments, due-diligence activities, data collection, maturity scoring, and continuous improvement efforts
Translate global ESG and Contract Management frameworks into actionable US processes, templates, governance routines, and compliance workflows
Maintain knowledge of emerging US and global regulations and advise stakeholders on required readiness steps
Conduct assessments and support compliance checks related to contract obligations, ESG requirements, operational resilience, and supplier practices
Provide subject matter guidance to business partners in Procurement, Legal, Risk & Compliance, Sustainability, and Business Continuity
Support the design, rollout, and continuous improvement of the US-wide program across ESG, Risk Management, Business Continuity, and Contract Management
Develop program documentation, governance structures, templates, tools, and standard operating procedures
Coordinate with global competency leads in Veldhoven to align deliverables, maturity expectations, and reporting structures
Lead ESG and Contract Management program analytics, including dashboards, KPI reporting, supplier risk insights, and maturity scoring
Analyze data from all four competency areas to identify trends, highlight risks, and enable data-driven decision-making
Prepare leadership updates, cross-site briefings, and executive summaries capturing progress, risks, dependencies, and next steps.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Supply Chain, Risk Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in ESG, Responsible Sourcing, Supplier Engagement, Contract Management, Risk Management, sustainability management, compliance, or supplier-related roles.
Strong understanding of ESG frameworks and disclosure expectations.
Experience operating within a global, matrixed organization.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into insights and recommendations.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage internal leaders, global counterparts, and external suppliers.
