The Program Management Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. This Sr. Analyst will specifically focus on the Control Waivers and Dispensations process for Relationship-Level Controls triggered by Citi's Third-Party Management (TPM) Program.
Job Responsibility:
Regularly engage with third-party relationship owners (across all Citi businesses and functions, as well as third-party operational risk leads, control owners, and TPM operations staff in support of the TPM control waivers and dispensations request and approval process
Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs
Applies best practices for effective communication and problem-solving
Understand the bank environment and compliance and regulatory requirements
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Controls dispensations are often time-sensitive requests, and execution must be orchestrated in a safe and sound manner, with thorough documentation and leadership throughout the process
Create reports including standard weekly and monthly TPM control waivers and dispensation summaries, requests for audit deliverables, and custom reporting to identify trends and strategic opportunities for efficiency enhancements or risk reduction
Requirements:
5-8 years of experience managing or participating in projects or leading operational processes, especially in a highly-regulated industry
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
