Job Description

Program Management Internship - Army Transport Aviation Program - (PMO Office) - Summer Intern is a temporary / part-time role (not to exceed 14 weeks) under Amentum's Summer Internship Program. The Business Intern will support operations in Huntsville, AL. This opportunity is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Business Management / Finance/Accounting, or a related field, looking to gain real-world experience in a dynamic and mission-driven organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with monthly financial reporting and analysis
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Help with cost tracking, invoice processing and audit preparation
  • Analyze financial data and present insights to contract team leadership
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and special projects
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, Amentum policies, and procedures

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in either a bachelor’s or master’s program in Business Management or Finance (or a related field)
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. Government background investigation
  • Must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Valid US Passport
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office suite applications
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Online and Power tools
