Job Responsibility:
Support people beyond crisis moments, helping them understand their finance, build confidence, and create stability over time through ongoing, connected support from trusted teams working together
Oversee the Financial Wellbeing services in the Illawarra, based in Wollongong
Lead a team of up to 6 professionals delivering Financial Capability, Financial Counselling and related services across office and community settings
Work closely with financial counsellors, caseworkers, churches and community partners
Drive strong client outcomes, ensure compliance, and embed a trauma‑informed, strengths‑based approach while fostering a collaborative, high‑performing team culture
Requirements:
Experience leading and coaching teams in community or social services
Strong background supporting people experiencing financial hardship
Ability to build genuine connections with diverse communities
Proven capability managing priorities, data, and reporting in fast‑paced environments
