Job Description

Arcfield is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to join our Finance team.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform complex analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned programs
  • Manage financial forecasts with program manager input and based on contractual details
  • Analyze financial results providing explanations for variances to plan
  • Act as a key technical expert on financial analysis issues
  • Coordinate interdepartmental development of program plans and interfaces with vendors and customers as required
  • Monitor and reports performance against plans to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met
  • Monitor the status of financial accounts, ensuring that program charges accurately reflect the correct labor hours and rates, subcontractor costs and other direct costs (ODCs)
  • Monitor spending versus plan and notifies management promptly of any over runs/under runs
  • Prepare financial reports, statements and estimates for internal and external stakeholders
  • Interface with top management, responding to their requests for financial data. Resolves reporting and compliance issues
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2
  • Experience in a financial role in government contracting industry
  • Strong excel skills
  • Experience with financial systems. Costpoint preferred
