We are seeking an experienced and strategic finance professional to lead a team of program finance analysts in delivering high-quality financial planning and reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of financial processes and will provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and development to the team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Portfolio leadership, financial planning and reporting teams, and cross-functional partners to drive accurate forecasting, insightful analysis, and alignment with strategic business objectives. This position plays a key role in supporting decision-making and ensuring financial goals are effectively communicated and achieved across the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage a team of program finance analysts, providing day-to-day supervision, coaching, performance feedback, and professional development to support team growth and effectiveness
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial plans, forecasts, and reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with organizational objectives
Collaborate with Portfolio leadership and cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, provide financial insights, and enable data-driven decision-making
Coordinate the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for programs within their respective Portfolio and/or team
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, procedures, and reporting standards, and drive continuous improvement in financial processes
Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support scenario analysis, performance tracking, and long-term planning
Present financial results and recommendations to senior leadership, clearly articulating trends, variances, and business implications
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within financial planning and reporting
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of related experience in business management or finance
Prior management experience and demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop talent
Ability to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment
Ability to work across cross functional teams to complete deliverables
Familiarity with business strategy and forecasting, through internal or external deliverables on a quarterly or annual basis
Nice to have:
Aerospace/defense industry experience
Program finance experience
Master of Business Administration or other Master’s degree
FAR/DFARS experience
Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working across functions
