Being a Program Educator with us is all about having fun, being energetic, and making a positive impact on the community. YMCA Storer Camps offer educational programs, character development, and team-building services to youth and adults through our three core programs: Outdoor Environmental Education, Summer Overnight Camp, and Family Programs & Group Retreats.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead engaging activities focused on core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility
  • Deliver top quality programming to residential Outdoor Education and Specialty Programs and Group Retreats camping programs
  • Teach curriculum areas such as Natural Science, Renewable Energy, Adventure Education, and Cultural History

Requirements:

  • A college degree or coursework in a relevant field
  • Practical experience that showcases your passion for education and outdoor programs
  • Effectively teach curriculum areas such as Natural Science, Renewable Energy, Adventure Education, and Cultural History
