Job Description

We are looking for a Program Development Director to drive growth and development of our ICP cohort of self service customers. Platform Services is a fast-paced and highly-collaborative Business Unit; we see ourselves as the engine room for Awin’s overall growth. As such the role requires someone who is comfortable working at speed in a highly-collaborative manner, with colleagues within the Business Unit but also outside too, particularly with product, CRM, finance, marketing, and group legal. Reporting directly to the Vice President of the Platform Business Unit, you will be an integral part of the senior management team, bringing proven expertise of working directly with large accounts to make this knowledge part of our DNA.

Job Responsibility

  • Overall responsibility for the performance and growth of your portfolio of clients
  • Accountability for leading the department in its work, ensuring you always set an example for every member of the team and model our Awin values
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders outside the department, for example with the Product organisation, Finance, CRM, and Insights teams
  • Ensure you are on top of the performance trends across your portfolio, you need to be highly adept when it comes to interpreting data from a large portfolio and developing strategies to constantly drive performance
  • Implement a client partnership model to the overall Business Unit ensuring that we have personal relationships with our most important customers
  • Proactively identify high growth opportunities and risks at a client level, ensuring that teams and individuals have clear goals and responsibilities as a result
  • Set department OKRs which ensure alignment with the Business Unit and Awin Group strategies, and work with the managers to ensure their strategic direction and OKRs also feed into this
  • Devise and present strategies, goals, and results to internal stakeholders, up to Board level if necessary
  • Ensure each team is set up to maximise the revenue potential from its client base
  • Work with internal stakeholders (P&C, FP&A, Talent) to ensure that the team’s performance is supported and that staffing and talent management match business needs
  • Provide strong and relevant leadership, coaching, mentoring and troubleshooting to direct reports and, where necessary, to the broader team
  • Provide people leadership for the team, development and performance management to the team, to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in the digital space (at least 4 of which being at a senior level within an affiliate network or agency)
  • Direct experience of working with large clients
  • Track record of developing and delivering account management services within digital marketing
  • Proven senior level relationship building, both internally and externally
  • Strong leadership experience managing or leading a team of 20+ people in an international and hybrid setup
  • Show true passion about servicing our clients at scale and the delivery of win-win-win solutions for customers and partners, with preference given to candidates with experience of utilising AI to drive effective customer outcomes at scale
  • Commercial orientation and strong strategic awareness
  • Excellent understanding of monetisation levers within an affiliate commercial model
  • Strong analytical experience and a data-led decision making default
  • Self-motivated, ambitious and initiative-taking
  • Confidence and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
