Repair the World seeks an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the Field Activation Team and the administration of the Jewish Service learning Kollel. This role combines essential administrative functions with dynamic program coordination responsibilities for multiple service and Jewish Educational initiatives; including Repair’s Service Ambassadors program and its Service Learning Kollel. The position will oversee the engagement and activation of Service Ambassadors for Repair’s Jewish Service Alliance (JSA), provide administrative support to the wider Field Activation team, as well provide logistical and communication support for Repair’s Jewish Educational cohort programming. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, experience in program coordination, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for community engagement and Jewish learning. The primary focus of the role (~80%) will be work with the Field Activation team, with the remaining time (~20%) to support the Jewish Education cohort programming.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the application and onboarding process for participants in both the Service Ambassadors and Jewish Service Kollel programs, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry to active participation
Coordinate all logistical aspects of the programs, including scheduling, communication, and preparation of materials for both Ambassadors and Kollel participants
Actively recruit diverse candidates for the Service Ambassadors program and Jewish Service Kollel, by leveraging personal networks and inspiring them to make an impact on the Jewish service movement
Monitor the Service Ambassador and Jewish Service Kollel application pipeline to ensure all participants complete expectations
Organize Jewish learning sessions for Service Ambassadors, providing opportunities for them to deepen their understanding of Jewish teachings on social responsibility and its connection to service
Coordinate monthly cohort learning sessions for Jewish Service Kollel participants
Monitor and evaluate program impact, collecting feedback through surveys and tracking participation data to assess alignment with Repair the World’s mission and goals
Provide administrative support to the Field Activation and Jewish Education teams, including managing participant data, organizing programs, and assisting with day-to-day operations
Assist with data management and reporting to ensure the smooth running of both the Field Activation and Jewish Education departments
Requirements:
1+ years of Experience: Project coordination, program support, or content management experience
Working in collaborative, multi-stakeholder environments
Supporting educational programming or learning experience logistics
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Technology Proficiency: Comfort with content management systems, G-Suite, project management platforms (Monday, Asana, etc.), and ability to learn new systems as needed (Salesforce, educational platforms, etc.)
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with experience facilitating communication between multiple parties and providing clear, organized updates and documentation
Jewish Engagement: Interest in and commitment to Jewish values-based programming, with understanding of how Jewish learning integrates with community service experiences
Flexible Schedule: Availability to support occasional evening and weekend programming, partner convenings, and training events based on partner and program needs
This position requires occasional travel to organizational convenings and relevant conferences
