Job Description

The Program Coordinator I supports the day-to-day operations of the Observership Program by managing application workflows, maintaining accurate program tracking, and coordinating next steps with internal contacts and external applicants. The role also provides operational support for broader International Health Education initiatives.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting the day-to-day administration of the hospital’s centralized Observership Program
  • coordinating pre- and post-acceptance processes for the Observership Program application processing
  • maintaining accurate, up-to-date tracking of applications, decisions, and onboarding status across multiple active programs
  • leading orientation sessions and tours
  • serving as the primary informational resource for visitors
  • coordinating observer networking and professional events
  • assisting with process improvement efforts and identifying gaps or issues in workflows
  • providing general program support and assisting members of the team
  • contributing to the development of new educational programs and developing marketing collateral

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1 year of relevant experience required
  • experience in program coordination, operations, or administrative roles supporting program operations required
  • previous experience working in healthcare, academic programs, or international education preferred
  • experience supporting onboarding, compliance, and/or scheduling workflows preferred
