Amentum is seeking an experienced Program Analyst to join our team in supporting the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) in their mission to develop, deliver, and maintain advanced integrated warfare systems and technologies that provide naval warfighters with decisive advantages.
Job Responsibility
Supports internal communication, organizational coordination, and staff engagement initiatives across Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS).
Draft, review, and refine high-level communications, including weekly executive reports, strategic documents, and flag-level briefing materials.
Drive communication strategies for major organizational shifts, including the transition to a Program Alignment Executive (PAE) structure and the rollout of the Integrated Combat System (ICS).
Manage command-driven award cycles (e.g., Stackley Awards, Excellence Awards) by streamlining nomination workflows and drafting high-quality, AI-assisted submission packages.
Lead the design, modernization, and maintenance of enterprise SharePoint sites, including centralized personnel rosters, interactive digital org charts, and targeted landing pages (e.g., AI Resources, CNO Communications, PAE Transition).
Manage the enterprise-wide announcement system, ensuring the rapid and accurate dissemination of internal communications to the workforce.
Evaluate and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical review processes, and knowledge management practices across Teams, OneNote, and SharePoint.
Serve as the strategic lead for messaging the adoption of GenAI tools (e.g., GenAI.mil, Google Gemini) across the broader PEO IWS workforce.
Facilitate training opportunities and develop resources—such as AI-assisted 'Playbooks'—to overcome adoption barriers and improve operational efficiency.
Provide end-to-end planning, logistics, and on-site support for major symposiums and industry days (e.g., SNA, SAS, PEO IWS Industry Day, SWOBOSS).
Facilitate large-scale, enterprise-wide virtual meetings (Teams), managing Q&A, content prep, and technical troubleshooting for audiences up to 1,900+ personnel.
Support the Congressional PAO lead by managing Requests for Information (RFIs) via the ETMS2 system and assisting in the preparation of materials for HACD/SACD and HASC briefings.
Assist the Public Affairs Officer with internal and external messaging, including congressional QFRs and RFI responses.
Contribute to a strong internal communication strategy and foster a transparent, collaborative, and informed workforce culture.
Requirements
Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Program Management, Engineering (or related field) AND 7+ years of experience in program management or engineering. (In Lieu of degree, High School diploma and 11 years of professional experience in program management or engineering)
Knowledge of program management principles and practices, including scheduling, risk management, and performance measurement.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data from multiple sources and develop insights and recommendations.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders at all levels.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint development/management, Microsoft Teams, and standard enterprise knowledge management tools.
Proven background in Public Affairs, Strategic Communications, or Executive Support within the DoD/Navy ecosystem.
Familiarity with Generative AI tools and a proven ability to apply them toward improving enterprise workflows.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, high adaptability in a changing environment, and the ability to interface confidently with Flag Officers and Senior Executives.
Nice to have
Experience in public affairs, strategic communications, or congressional/organizational communications.
Strong writing, editing, and visual communication skills.
Experience supporting senior leaders in fast-paced environments.
Knowledge of event planning, internal coordination, and military protocol is a plus.
