Astrion is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Program Analyst to provide essential day-to-day operational support to the Program Manager for International Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS). In this role, the analyst will serve as the administrative and informational backbone for both Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Foreign Military Financing (FMF) initiatives. The core focus of this position is the rigorous management of program documentation, tracking of project milestones, and the facilitation of daily workflow. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and producing comprehensive analytical white papers, developing high-quality meeting briefs and slide decks, and capturing detailed minutes during high-level engagements with foreign dignitaries and military commanders. Additionally, the analyst will assist in organizing data for Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and budgets, ensuring that all strategic plans—including protection architectures for critical infrastructure, APODs, and SPODs against Group 1-3 UAS threats—are meticulously documented, version-controlled, and readily available for executive review.
Job Responsibility:
Daily Program Operations: Support the Program Manager by driving the day-to-day operational rhythm, tracking action items, and ensuring alignment with overarching FMS and FMF program objectives
Document Management & Control: Establish and maintain rigorous configuration control for all program artifacts, including budget records, Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and infrastructure protection plans for military sites and ports (APODs/SPODs)
Briefings & White Papers: Research, draft, and format executive-level briefing materials, presentations, and technical white papers regarding C-UAS (Groups 1-3) capabilities, threats, and program milestones
Meeting Facilitation & Minutes: Coordinate program meetings and high-stakes engagements with international partners
accurately capture, distribute, track meeting minutes and subsequent action items
Data Synthesis: Assist the Program Manager by gathering and organizing complex data related to funding, design, and implementation to ensure leadership is fully prepared for decision-making
Requirements:
Active or ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Up to 10% of international travel
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, Program Management, or similar program
3-10 years of experience in DoD
Microsoft Project
Experience in scheduling and cost analysis
Knowledge of Army writing style
Defense Security Cooperation University Level 1 training
