Job Description

We are looking for a dependable Program Aide (Graveyard) to support daily front desk operations for a community-focused housing program in South San Francisco, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who brings a calm, service-minded approach to guest interactions while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced setting. The person in this role will help maintain an organized, welcoming environment and provide consistent support to clients, visitors, and onsite staff.

Job Responsibility

  • Welcome visitors and clients at the front desk, provide guidance, and create a detail-focused first impression during overnight coverage
  • Manage client check-in and check-out activity while keeping records accurate and up to date
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, food deliveries, and donated items to the appropriate areas
  • Enter information into internal records promptly and maintain organized documentation for daily operations
  • Support clients with routine needs such as medication-related assistance in accordance with site procedures
  • Restock common area and day room supplies to help keep shared spaces prepared for use
  • Monitor the facility by completing interior and exterior rounds and reporting concerns as needed
  • Help maintain site standards by reinforcing community rules and documenting incidents or notices when necessary
  • Provide coverage for team members during meal and rest breaks to ensure uninterrupted front desk support

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in administrative support, reception, customer service, or a related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and adjust priorities based on operational needs
  • High attention to detail when handling records, visitor activity, and routine administrative work
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and comfort with basic data entry
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers in a team-oriented environment
