Job Description

We are looking for a dependable Program Aide (Graveyard) to support front desk operations and client services for a community-focused housing program in South San Francisco, California. Hours are 16 hours per week and will require weekend work.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee the reception area during the graveyard shift, welcoming visitors and responding to questions with professionalism and care
  • Manage incoming deliveries, sort mail, and coordinate the distribution of packages and donated items to the appropriate areas
  • Assist with client check-in and check-out procedures while maintaining accurate records through timely data entry
  • Provide shift coverage for team members during meal and rest breaks to help ensure smooth front desk operations
  • Support residents with basic needs such as medication coordination and access to essential day room supplies
  • Reinforce site policies, document concerns when needed, and communicate incidents or rule violations appropriately
  • Receive food deliveries and other contributions, ensuring items are brought in and handled in an organized manner
  • Deliver courteous customer service to residents, guests, and partners while helping maintain a supportive environment

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in administrative support, front desk, reception, or customer service work
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact respectfully with a diverse population
  • Ability to manage several tasks at once, stay organized, and adjust priorities throughout the shift
  • High attention to detail when handling records, visitor activity, and routine documentation
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer data entry tasks
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team environment
  • Ability to remain dependable and attentive to detail in an overnight or late-shift setting
