We are looking for a dedicated Program Administrator to join our team in Las Vegas. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in supporting the Early Education Program Team by overseeing detailed accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, and fostering collaboration with community partners. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage various administrative and financial responsibilities effectively.
Job Responsibility:
Reconcile and process invoices for the Early Education Program Team prior to submission to the Finance Team
Collaborate with both the Early Education and Finance Teams to ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly reimbursement requests to funding organizations
Administer backup documentation from early childhood education centers on a monthly basis
Provide technical support to Nevada Ready partners on budgeting, invoicing, and administrative program requirements
Build relationships with Early Education community partners to enhance collaboration and improve service delivery systems
Audit and maintain documentation related to program requirements, including student files, teacher credentials, program policies, and other grant-related documents
Perform accurate data entry and collection in Early Childhood dashboards as specified by program requirements
Ensure compliance with grant guidelines by reconciling transactions and maintaining detailed records
Assist in preparing reports and documentation necessary for program evaluation and funding
Support the team with additional administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related administrative roles
Proficiency in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and invoice reconciliation
Strong skills in data entry and familiarity with billing processes
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and spreadsheet management
Experience with grant administration and government grant compliance
Ability to reconcile vendor statements and process vendor invoices with accuracy
Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and partners
Detail-oriented mindset to ensure thorough documentation and adherence to program requirements
