Requirements:

  • A PhD in Statistics or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of post-graduate experience performing statistical research and/or collaboration
  • Minimum of 10 years of prior experience as the solo instructor for college-level statistics course in one or more modalities (in-person, online, hybrid)
  • Ability to teach a broad range of statistics courses and experience with course and curriculum development
  • Demonstrated record of advising Master and/or PhD level students
  • An established record of peer-review publication in applied and/or theoretical statistics
  • Demonstrated ability to secure external funding, (e.g. NSF, NIH, USDA, or similar funded projects)
  • A nationally recognized reputation for research, teaching, and service

Nice to have:

  • Record of professional service, including but not limited to journal editor, or professional associations leaderships roles
  • Experience with student recruitment
