Job Description:

The Lycée Français International d'Anvers, an accredited establishment of the Odyssey group and partner of the AEFE, is looking for a Science Teacher, coordinator of the IGCSE teaching modules, to join our passionate team. The position is available for the start of the 2026 academic year.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver science courses at secondary level, implementing innovative teaching approaches recommended by the University of Cambridge
  • Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the Cambridge IGCSE programmes, ensuring adherence to high academic standards
  • Work closely with the teaching team to ensure consistency and excellence in teaching
  • Participate in the development of educational programs adapted to the needs of students and aligned with international standards
  • Cultivate a positive, inclusive learning environment conducive to academic growth

Requirements:

  • Teaching degree in science or related discipline
  • Proven experience in secondary teaching, with preference given to those with a Cambridge University background
  • Thorough knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE syllabuses and recommended teaching methodologies
  • Ability to design dynamic and interactive courses, integrating innovative tools and approaches
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English
