As an Professional Trustee, you’ll bring your actuarial acumen to bear on the challenges faced by pension schemes, helping to ensure: Strategic funding solutions; Effective investment governance; Compliance with evolving regulatory landscapes.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as an independent voice on trustee boards
  • Provide actuarial insights into funding, de-risking, and valuation strategies
  • Oversee scheme governance, administration, and member communications
  • Collaborate with sponsors, advisers, and other trustees to secure positive outcomes for all stakeholders

Requirements

  • Qualified pensions or investment actuary (FIA/FFA or equivalent) with substantial experience in DB schemes
  • Equivalent pensions (PMI) or investment (CFA) qualification
  • Strong understanding of funding strategies, risk management, and pension regulations
  • Ability to engage constructively with sponsors and other stakeholders
  • A passion for ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance in pension scheme management
