Job Description

They are looking for an experienced professional to join their growing Actuarial System Team and lead a new specialised testing sub team.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the model development team and their business consumers by maintaining and enhancing a robust set of testing tools and processes and performing and evidencing a rigorous regime of functional and non-functional model testing
  • To develop and maintain strong working relationships with all key users and stakeholders
  • Oversight / management of junior team members, including supporting and monitoring their development needs

Requirements

  • Qualified or partly-qualified actuary with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in life insurance or life reinsurance
  • Experience of using Prophet, RiskAgility FM, Tyche or similar modelling platforms, including an understanding of the benefits and limitations of such platforms
  • Experience with Atlassian suite, including Zephyr, or other test management applications
  • Understanding of Life, CI, IP and Annuity/Longevity insurance products and the actuarial concepts underpinning the core model calculations
