Job Description:

In this role you will take full ownership of critical legal and compliance matters for our global operations, headquartered in the Netherlands. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will be essential to protecting our company’s reputation and integrity. You will provide legal support to the legal professionals in the team, helping them to be more efficient and effective. You will also assist in ensuring compliance with policies, laws and regulations and act as a first point of contact for other global departments and the legal departments of the other Randstad Group companies worldwide and global business. You are passionate about corporate housekeeping.

Job Responsibility:

  • Corporate housekeeping & entity management: taking ownership over our legal entity management system in collaboration with local Randstad lawyers
  • AML and stakeholder compliance: acting as the first point of contact for global KYC and UBO requests from clients, suppliers, banks
  • Stakeholder management: directly liaising with notaries and other service providers to manage legalizations and corporate secretarial matters
  • Corporate documentation: taking ownership of corporate templates, drafting guarantees and shareholders- and board resolutions of Dutch entities
  • Legal research: providing actionable legal insights on emerging regulations and case law
  • Compliance: supporting compliance reporting and training, playing a central role in protecting our global reputation
  • AI and Legal Technology: leverage available tools (Gemini/Google Workspace) to make sure you and the team work as efficient as possible
  • Ad hoc support to the general counsel and the team

Requirements:

  • Experience in corporate legal & compliance work in a law firm or in-house
  • Able to work independently in an international environment and in a matrix organization
  • Enjoy collaboration and a supporting role
  • Pay close attention to detail
  • Bring an enthusiastic and pragmatic mindset
  • Proactive with strong communication skills
  • Hands-on and service oriented
  • Eager to work with AI and legal technology to improve efficiency
  • Have a good command of the English language (other languages a plus)
  • Have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a corporate or law firm environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dutch Law (HBO or WO)
